This new exhibition marks the end of the four-year Down Time project during which SVA aimed to address physical and mental wellbeing through a series of training and artist-led activities working with 320 vulnerable young people and those at risk of disengagement.
Visitors will see work by artists Martin Brockman, Andy Evans, Tracey Falcon, Neil Kelly, Tim Norris and Susan Shaw in the exhibition, as well as film and photographic documentation by Hope Fitzgerald.
"Science Nature and Identity- Understanding the Value of Experiential Learning in a Land Art Context" by Lucy Medhurst is published to coincide with the exhibition.

Returning to Kent after a residency in King’s Wood in 2009, Vera presented a fantastic exhibition of photographs, watercolors and micro-sculpture at Sidney Cooper Gallery, Canterbury. Mike Marshall's A Prism Splits Light is shown as part of ArtSway’s New Forest Pavillion, 54th International Art Exhibition - La Biennale di Venezia. Mike’s book Open Space is launched.
